Cognizant opens its largest Cyber Defence Centre in Bengaluru, offering AI‑powered 24/7 monitoring, threat research, and talent development for global security
Cognizant has unveiled its Next‑Generation Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) in Bengaluru, marking the company’s largest facility of its kind worldwide. The launch reinforces the IT services major’s commitment to advanced cybersecurity solutions powered by artificial intelligence and strengthens Bengaluru’s position as a global technology hub.
The new centre is designed to deliver AI‑driven, platform‑centric cybersecurity managed services, alongside engineering and transformation solutions for Cognizant’s global clients. It will serve as a central hub for end‑to‑end cybersecurity operations, supporting organisations across industries and geographies in tackling increasingly complex threats in a hyper‑connected digital environment.
A key feature of the Bengaluru CDC is round‑the‑clock monitoring and rapid incident response. Dedicated teams of specialists will continuously track threat activity, detect vulnerabilities, and respond in real time to minimise downtime, reduce financial losses, and safeguard sensitive data against breaches and ransomware.
The facility also houses an integrated threat research laboratory focused on identifying emerging risks, analysing attack patterns, and developing proactive defence mechanisms. This capability will be enhanced through strategic alliances with leading global technology partners, combining proprietary innovations with industry platforms to deliver resilient cybersecurity solutions.
