Teen love turns tragic: Newborn’s death shocks Bengaluru

A heart-wrenching incident has taken place in Bengaluru, where a teenage love story ended in the tragic death of a newborn. Two minors, deeply involved in a romantic relationship, took their bond to a physical level, resulting in an unplanned pregnancy. What should have been the start of a new life ended in unimaginable sorrow.

The girl, with the help of her friends, delivered the baby in secrecy. Sadly, the newborn did not survive. In an attempt to cover up the incident, the minor girl wrapped the baby’s body in a cover and handed it to an elderly man living nearby, asking him to dispose it of, pretending it was just waste. Unaware of the truth, the elderly man threw the package into a garbage bin. 

Later, sanitation workers were shocked to discover the infant’s body while clearing the trash and immediately informed the police. Authorities quickly began an investigation and checked nearby CCTV footage. The footage revealed the elderly man on a bicycle, helping police trace the source of the package. 

Upon questioning, the elderly man unknowingly led them to the girl’s house. During police interrogation, she revealed the entire story, including her relationship with the boy, the delivery with the help of her friends and the decision to dispose of the baby. The male minor has since been arrested and sent to juvenile custody.
