 Kotha Telangana Charithra Brundam (KTCB), a local group of history enthusiasts has uncovered a scripture in Ummeda Kalabhairavaswamy temple, located in Nandipet Mandal at the Nizamabad district. 

It is being reported to belong to the time period wherein the Kalyani Chalukya ruled in the region. At the time when the inscription was drafted, the ruler of that area was Thribuvanamalla V Vikramaditya. The inscription is said to have been drafted under the instructions of the prime minister of his court. The prime minister at that point of time was Pallavarasa. The language of the inscription is Kannada. But the script that is being described as Telugu-Kannada which is distinct from the present form of Kannada. 

The inscription reads, “During the reign of Kalyani Chalukya emperor Tribhuvanamalla V Vikramaditya, Satya Ratnakara Burudankita, Somarasa Punyamkora, the great prime minister of Pallavarasa era 933 on the full moon Sunday of Falguna month (February 10, 1012) during the lunar eclipse, washed the feet of Somanatha and worshipped the land of 60 martyrs.” as per a report from the Times of India. Kotha Telangana Charithra Brundam had themselves undertaken the task of decoding the text. 

 A similar inscription was also uncovered in Nandikandi in the Sangareddy district of Telangana.
