The explosion, which struck during working hours, injured 15-20 others, who are receiving treatment in nearby hospitals. Firefighting efforts involved 15 fire tenders rushing to the scene, battling the blaze to control the situation. Rescue operations, supported by ambulances and local authorities, continue as fears linger that more individuals may still be trapped. The force of the blast was so intense that it scattered workers across the site, complicating rescue efforts.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy, offering condolences to the bereaved families. He announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for each deceased person’s kin and Rs 50,000 for the injured, signaling national support for the victims.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, equally shaken, has ordered a thorough investigation to determine the blast’s cause and prevent future incidents. He has directed officials to ensure top medical care for the wounded and expedite rescue missions.

Reddy is scheduled to visit the site today to assess the situation and meet affected families, promising swift action.
