In a high-stakes meeting on December 26, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reiterated his government’s commitment to maintaining law and order while assuring full support for the Telugu film industry. Held at the Telangana State Police Command and Control Centre in Hyderabad, the meeting aimed to mend perceived tensions between the ruling Congress and Tollywood, following the arrest of superstar Allu Arjun.

Reddy urged celebrities to manage their fanbase responsibly and emphasized the industry's role in ensuring public safety. The meeting was attended by prominent Tollywood figures, including Film Development Corporation chairman Dil Raju, directors Koratala Siva and Anil Ravipudi, and producers Suresh Babu and Allu Aravind.
Following the stampede incident, the actor was arrested on December 13 but was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court the same day.
The controversy escalated when Congress MLA R Bhoopathi Reddy warned that Allu Arjun’s films could face a ban in Telangana, criticizing the actor’s comments against CM Reddy and questioning his contributions to the state.
Despite the tensions, CM Reddy affirmed his administration’s willingness to work with Tollywood, provided public safety remains a top priority. The meeting underscored the need for collaboration between the government and the influential film industry to prevent future incidents.
