Television actor Vikas Sethi, known for his roles in popular serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahiin To Hoga, has passed away at the age of 48. The actor reportedly died in his sleep and was later taken to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai.

The news of Sethi’s sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry. Actress Delnaaz Irani, who recently worked with him, reportedly expressed her disbelief. “I just learned from a friend that Vikas is no more. It’s extremely shocking and sad.”

Delnaaz had known Vikas since 2008, having worked together on the dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha. Although they were not in regular touch, they reconnected three months ago while shooting a commercial together. “He seemed perfectly fine then, which is why this has come as a shock,” she added.

Vikas Sethi’s career spanned multiple popular television shows, including Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Uttaran, and Sasural Simar Ka. He also appeared in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Deewaanapan.

The actor, who was married twice, shared the joy of fatherhood in 2021, announcing the birth of twins with his second wife, Jhanvi. His untimely passing leaves a void in the television industry, with colleagues and fans mourning his loss.
