Domestically, GOAT has raked in a staggering Rs 43 crore nett, with a lion’s share of Rs 38.3 crore coming from the Tamil version. The Telugu and Hindi versions contributed Rs 3 crore and Rs 1.7 crore, respectively. Industry tracker Sacnilk reported that the film achieved an impressive 76.23% occupancy in India on its opening day.
Vijay, who plays dual roles in the movie, is gearing up for this to be his penultimate film before transitioning into politics full-time. GOAT features an ensemble cast, including Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Jayaram, and Laila.
