The chemistry between Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha is sizzling in the Kushi trailer

The trailer for the Shiva Nirvana directorial Kushi released on August 9th. The initial sequences of the film are set in Kashmir. Vijay Deverakonda is seen referring to Samantha as Begum. It is being reported that Vijay Devarakonda plays the role of an army officer in the film. A chemistry blossoms between the characters. But certain sequences also depict bomb blasts promising both action and romance.

It is however revealed that Samantha is not a Muslim but a Brahmin. It is also revealed that Vijay Deverakonda’s father is named Lenin Satyam indicating a staunch communist background. There appears to be some resistance for the marriage to materialise. But the plot of the film seems to revolve around what happens after the marriage is consummated as problems arising from misunderstanding and emotional turmoil seems to have cropped up between the couple. There are ample comedic moments in the trailer as well. Overall, the film seems to provide a wholesome rom-com package that would make for a decent family outing. 

The music for the film has been given by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The film has been produced under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. The film is set to hit theatres on September 1st.
