Thalapathy Vijay is featured in a bullet vest and a machine gun

Director Venkat Prabhu has chosen the apt occasion of Pongal to provide an update regarding “Thalapathy 68”. “Thalapathy 68” has been titled “The Greatest Of All Time” (GOAT). A poster of “The GOAT” has been unveiled on Pongal. It features Kollywood star Thalapathy Vijay in a bullet vest and a machine gun. Along with Vijay, the poster also features ace choreographer Prabhudeva, Tamil cinema veteran Prashanth and Tamil actor Ajmal. Vijay fans were enthralled at this announcement and the intrigue pertaining to the project has further increased after this announcement. 

The shooting for the film commenced in November 2023. The shoot took place in multiple locations such as Thailand and Chennai. Parts of the film will also be shot in Sri Lanka, Rajasthan and Istanbul. Yuvan Shankar Raja has given the music for the film. The ensemble cast consists of other prominent figures such as Jayaram and Parvathi Nair. 

Both Venkat Prabhu and Vijay are walking into the project after a successful venture in their previous outing. Venkat Prabhu’s Maanaadu featuring Simbu was praised by both the audience and critics for its unique plot and creative visualisation. Vijay’s Leo also made an impressive collection in the box office.
