Team India losing the World Cup 2023 final is a tough thing to digest. After having been invincible in the group stage, winning 9 out of 9 and the semifinal, India, many feel, had to win the cup. But fate had other plans! 

Team India captain Rohit Sharma is still unable to extricate himself out of the depression. Currently, he is spending time with his family. 

In an old video that has gone viral. His daughter can be seen coming out of a hotel and informing the questioner that her dad is in the room and that he would be fine in a month’s time. The video is almost a year old and has surfaced now.

India go down by 6 wickets 

After struggling to score 240, India were not able to defend it. A disciplined bowling attack by the Aussies and splending batting, headed by Travis Head, saw them win the title, 6th time in a row. 

While Virat Kohli was declared man of the series, Travis Head won the man of the series award.
