    Darshan resorts to reading habits in jail

It has been over two weeks since actor Darshan and his co-accused have been held in Parappana Agrahara jail. Initially engaged in conversations with fellow inmates, Darshan has recently turned to reading storybooks and novels as a pastime, seeking a change from his routine.

According to sources, the Kannada film star now frequents the jail library, personally selecting books that capture his interest. This newfound hobby has provided him with a much-needed escape and a way to cope with the monotony of prison life.

In addition to his reading sessions, Darshan has been interacting with the jail staff, often seen sharing smiles and engaging in light-hearted conversations. His friendly demeanor and storytelling abilities have made him a popular figure among the staff, creating a positive environment despite the circumstances.

It was June 11 last that he and others were arrested in relation to the murder of Renukaswamy. After being led into a shed in Bengaluru’s RR Nagar, Swamy was beaten up black and blue and later, his body was disposed of in a drain. 

 

Darshan is A2 in the case while Pavitra Gowda is A1.
