Mahindra & Mahindra has announced significant price cuts across its passenger vehicle lineup, ahead of the central government’s new Goods and Services Tax (GST) implementation set for September 22. The revised prices came into effect on September 6, offering customers savings of up to ₹1.56 lakh.

The auto major stated that the price reduction directly passes on the benefit of GST rate cuts to buyers. The company has also stepped up sales and marketing initiatives for its premium vehicles, aiming to boost demand in the festive season.

Dealerships and digital platforms have already updated the revised prices to ensure transparency. The cuts vary across models, depending on the GST and cess revisions, with SUVs like the Scorpio N, XUV700, and Thar among the biggest beneficiaries.

According to Mahindra, the move reflects its strategy to remain competitive while encouraging customers to upgrade to newer vehicles.
