Tovino Thomas gets candid, talks A.R.M and his bond with Yash

In a freewheeling chat with NewsFirst Prime, Tovino Thomas, actor and producer, spoke about his next movie ARM.

On the issue of playing three characters, he said, “The trust they had in me which I honestly didn't have in myself. I gave them the suggestion of having 3 characters. As an actor, it was a challenge for me. I even went to an acting workshop just to differentiate three different characters. That is when I got confidence.” 

On getting validation 

He said, “I look for validation from my directors, among others. I also depend on the writer, director and script. I have that anxiety before starting the shoot of the movie. Once I get into the character, I overcome the anxiety. Once the movie is released, there is no point in being anxious.”  

Actors generally get anxious during the movie. But Tovino begs to be different. He said, “If the movie works, good. If not, we will have to take it in our stride.”
