The museum features exhibits such as vintage traffic equipment, police uniforms, historic photographs, and documents, alongside interactive installations focused on traffic safety education. Designed as a resource for students, researchers, and traffic enthusiasts, the museum aims to honor the efforts of traffic police personnel while promoting public awareness about road safety.
The Experience Centre complements the museum with cutting-edge learning tools, including traffic simulations, games, and quizzes on road safety. A digital real-time model of Bengaluru’s traffic is a key attraction, offering hands-on insights. The facility also plans to host educational programs for schools and colleges and conduct workshops on traffic management.
Additionally, the ASTraM mobile app was launched during the event, offering commuters real-time traffic updates, accident reporting, fine payment options, and violation reporting. A Coffee Table Book detailing the history of Bengaluru Traffic Police was also unveiled, with an e-version now accessible on the Bengaluru Traffic Police website.
These initiatives aim to enhance traffic management, strengthen road safety education, and create safer commuting experiences for Bengaluru residents.
