A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district, where four young children lost their lives in a tragic accident involving a parked car. The incident occurred in the Dwarapudi area near the Cantonment zone. A government office car had been left parked outside, seemingly harmless and unlocked. While playing nearby, the children climbed into the vehicle, likely out of curiosity or for fun. Moments later, the car doors automatically locked, trapping them inside.

With no way to escape and rising temperatures turning the car into a heat chamber, the children began to suffocate. Hours passed, and when they didn’t return home, worried parents began searching the neighborhood. Their desperate search ended in unimaginable grief when they found their lifeless children inside the very car parked on the roadside.

Two of the victims, Charumathi and Charishma, were sisters, making the tragedy even more devastating for the family. All the children were aged between six and eight years. What began as an innocent playtime turned into a nightmare due to a moment of oversight and a parked car left unsecured.

This incident serves as a gut-wrenching reminder to all parents and guardians to stay vigilant about their children’s safety and for vehicle owners to ensure unattended cars are always locked and secured.
