Tragedy mars Pushpa 2 release celebrations in Hyderabad, a woman loses life

Hyderabad witnessed a tragic turn of events as the much-anticipated release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, sparked chaos among fans. The incident occurred during the film's premiere at Sandhya Theater on Friday night.

Excitement ran high as fans gathered in large numbers to witness the return of Allu Arjun's iconic character, Pushparaj. However, the celebrations took a grim turn when a stampede broke out amidst the swelling crowd outside the theater.

The situation spiraled out of control, prompting police to resort to a lathicharge to manage the crowd. Despite their efforts, the chaos led to a devastating outcome. A woman lost her life on the spot, and her 9-year-old son sustained critical injuries. Two other individuals were also severely injured and are currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

Witnesses reported that the crowd surged when fans rushed to catch a glimpse of the stars, overwhelming the security arrangements. The Chikkapalli police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

The tragic stampede cast a shadow over the release celebrations of Pushpa 2, which had generated massive excitement among fans worldwide. The film's high-octane action and Allu Arjun's intense portrayal had been eagerly awaited, but the unfortunate incident has left the city in mourning.
