The trailer opens with Honey, played by Samantha, instructing her young daughter, Nadia, to listen to music while hiding in a trunk. As Honey shares her past, she reveals she was once a struggling actress before being recruited by Bunny, a charismatic spy portrayed by Varun Dhawan. Bunny introduces Honey to the high-stakes world of espionage, where she eventually becomes an agent. A pivotal moment shows Nadia discovering Bunny is her father, marking an emotional reunion after years apart.

Viewers are treated to a blend of high-octane action scenes, featuring hand-to-hand combat, bike chases, gunfights, and aerial stunts. Emotional beats also shine, with glimpses of Honey and Bunny’s romance and Bunny reassuring Nadia of her parents’ unwavering protection.

Varun and Samantha have done a fantastic job!” Others praised Samantha as “the most versatile actress of her generation.” However, some were less impressed, noting perceived issues with Varun’s and Samantha’s dialogue delivery.

Directed by Raj and DK and produced by The Russo Brothers' AGBO, Citadel: Honey Bunny also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, and more. The series will debut on Amazon Prime on November 7.
