In a recent controversy, actor Triptii Dimri has denied allegations made by FICCI FLO’s Jaipur chapter, accusing her of skipping an event after reportedly accepting a fee of Rs 5.5 lakh. The event, which celebrated women's empowerment, saw the defacement of Dimri’s poster, with an organiser blackening her image in front of the crowd.
Videos from the venue captured the organisers' frustration, as they claimed the Animal star had committed to attending but failed to show up. Some of the organisers even threatened to file a police complaint against the actor. One woman was heard urging Jaipur residents to boycott Dimri’s films, calling her unworthy of being considered a celebrity.

Dimri’s team quickly responded to the accusations. In an official statement, her spokesperson clarified that the actor did not accept any payment for the event and had not made any commitments to attend. The statement emphasized that Triptii had fully honored her professional obligations during the promotion of her upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, co-starring Rajkummar Rao.
The spokesperson added that any appearances beyond her promotional duties were never part of her schedule and reiterated that no additional fees were taken for such activities.
Dimri, who has recently gained widespread acclaim for her role in Animal, continues to maintain her focus on upcoming projects, including Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, set for a Diwali release.
