Tulsi Gabbard, the former U.S. congresswoman who left the Democratic Party in 2022, has endorsed Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential race. Gabbard made her endorsement during a National Guard Association event in Michigan, where Trump was also speaking, according to The Hill.

In her announcement, Gabbard criticized the current administration’s foreign policy, citing increased global tensions and the potential threat of nuclear conflict. “We are facing multiple conflicts around the world, and the risk of nuclear war is higher than ever,” she said. “This is why I am dedicated to supporting President Trump’s return to the White House, where he can again lead as our commander-in-chief.”
Gabbard’s political journey includes an unsuccessful bid for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020. After her campaign ended, she left Congress and the Democratic Party, aligning herself with conservative media and events such as the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). In recent weeks, she has been working closely with Trump in preparation for his upcoming debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.
