Anjali Sud, a prominent Indian-American business leader, has been appointed to Harvard University’s prestigious Board of Overseers for a two-year term starting May 30, 2025. The Board, established in 1642, oversees academic and institutional reviews at Harvard. Sud succeeds former Canadian central bank governor Mark Carney. Born in Detroit to Punjabi immigrant parents, Sud earned her MBA from Harvard Business School in 2011. She rose to prominence as CEO of Vimeo, leading its transformation and public debut, and is currently CEO of Tubi, a free streaming service. Sud also holds board positions at Change.org, Dolby Laboratories, and Phillips Academy Andover. She credits her success to education and aims to help shape the future of higher education.

Sanjay Seth Takes Role with Harvard Alumni Association
Sanjay Seth, born in Australia, has been elected to a leadership role in the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA), focusing on alumni engagement and community-building. Seth holds dual master’s degrees from Harvard—an MPA from the Kennedy School and a Master’s in Urban Planning from the Graduate School of Design. He has extensive experience in climate policy, having worked with the EPA and city governments in Boston and New York. At Harvard, he co-founded the Alumni for Climate and Environment group and was a Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership fellow. In his new role, Seth will strengthen alumni connections globally.
