This move highlights the UAE’s efforts to strengthen ties with India, where over 3.5 million Indians currently reside. The relaxed entry process is expected to boost both tourism and business travel between the two countries, making the UAE a more accessible destination for Indian professionals and tourists.

To qualify for the visa-on-arrival, Indian travellers must meet the following criteria: possession of a valid visa, green card, or residence permit from the U.S., U.K., or any EU nation, along with a passport that has at least six months of validity.

The policy marks a new chapter in the growing partnership between India and the UAE, fostering greater connectivity and opportunities for trade and investment. Indian nationals are expected to benefit significantly from this streamlined travel process, further enhancing the UAE’s appeal as a prime destination.
