The Uber Shuttle service, already operational in Delhi and Kolkata, offers larger vehicles with fixed routes and pre-booked seating. Designed to address traffic congestion and improve transit efficiency, the service targets cities grappling with mobility challenges.

Minister Kharge emphasized the need for innovative solutions to tackle Bengaluru's notorious traffic woes, stressing the role of technology in enhancing urban transportation systems.

Prabhjeet Singh, President of Uber India, shared insights into the company’s plans, suggesting key areas such as Hebbal and the Outer Ring Road's tech corridor as potential routes for the shuttle service. Singh underlined Uber's commitment to working with local authorities to deliver a seamless and efficient commuting experience.

Uber's move aligns with Bengaluru's growing demand for smarter, scalable transit options in its fast-evolving urban landscape. With the city's status as a global tech hub, the introduction of Uber Shuttle could mark a significant shift in how residents navigate daily commutes.
