Udupi: Khushboo talks to 'washroom fiasco' victim and college administration

NCW (National Commission for Women) member andBJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) member visited the site of the “washroom fiasco”in Udupi, Netra Jyothi Institute of Allied Health Sciences in Udupi,  to talk to the victim and the college administration and investigate the matter. The talks lasted for more than 4 hours. Later on, she had an interaction with the media in which she stated that the investigations are ongoing and no comments can be made beforehand. However, she refuted allegations of hidden cameras in the washrooms in the college premises and urged the media to report more responsibly on such matters. 

She later on took to Twitter to post about the sequence of events. “In Udupi. Investigations are on. Meeting the police now and getting first hand report. Different stories, different theories, different conclusions, fake what’s app forwards needs to stop. And to some idiots, I flew in from delhi. Clear story of stupidity at its best. Just speak bcoz you want to be seen n heard. Desperation seems to be in your DNA.,” she tweeted.

Meanwhile the BJP local unit in Udupi held demonstrations against the state government over the incident. It started from the BJP regional office via the Udupi city bus stop all the way to the office of the SP in Bannanje.
