Responding to questions about repeated terror attacks on India originating from Pakistan, Gabbard underlined that the US remains firmly committed to addressing the challenge. She pointed out that extremist networks continue to impact not just India and Bangladesh, but are also active in Syria, Israel, and across the Middle East. The ongoing efforts by both nations, she suggested, aim at dismantling these organizations and preventing further destabilization.
The discussion comes amid growing security concerns in the Indo-Pacific region, where both India and the US have increased intelligence-sharing and counterterrorism cooperation. Gabbard’s remarks indicate a continued alignment between New Delhi and Washington in addressing transnational security threats, reinforcing their strategic partnership in tackling terrorism.
