'Vettaiyan' trailer: Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan promise high-octane action and intrigue

The much-anticipated trailer for T J Gnanavel’s upcoming film Vettaiyan has been released, offering fans a thrilling glimpse of what’s to come. The movie stars Rajinikanth as an encounter specialist, alongside Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and acclaimed actor Fahadh Faasil. Set against the backdrop of Tamil Nadu police's pursuit of criminals, Vettaiyan is poised to deliver action-packed sequences while delving into the controversial theme of fake encounter killings.

Fahadh Faasil, known for his compelling performances, will portray a character named Patrick, marking his return to Tamil cinema after his widely praised roles in Vikram and Maamannan. His presence in Vettaiyan is expected to bring a unique dynamic to the narrative.

The film's ensemble cast also includes Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, Kishore, Ritika Singh, G.M. Sundar, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, and Ramesh Thilak. A song from the film, featuring Warrier's dance performance, has already generated significant buzz on social media.

Set to release on October 10, Vettaiyan will be available in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. Gnanavel, who is both the director and screenplay writer, has teamed up with composer Anirudh Ravichander to create a musical score that further elevates the excitement around the film’s release.
