After a robust opening of ₹23 crore on its first day, the film maintained momentum with ₹20 crore on Day 2 and ₹17.50 crore on Day 3. Despite a slight drop on its second day, occupancy rates soared to 71.78% during night shows on Thursday, reflecting the film’s widespread appeal.

The engaging storyline and power-packed performances, led by Venkatesh, have been pivotal to the movie’s success. Sankranthiki Vasthunam features Venkatesh as Yadagiri Damodhar Raju, a retired police officer navigating a peaceful life with his wife Bhagyalakshmi, played by Aishwarya Rajesh. The plot intensifies when a tech entrepreneur is kidnapped, prompting Raju’s ex-girlfriend, police officer Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary), to spearhead the rescue mission.

The film’s festive release, compelling narrative, and star-studded cast, including Srinivas Avasarala and Meenakshi Chaudhary, have garnered widespread acclaim. With theaters adding more screens to meet demand, Sankranthiki Vasthunam is on track to enter the profit zone and could become one of Venkatesh’s highest-grossing films.
