In a move aimed at strengthening air connectivity and positioning Ho Chi Minh City as a regional transit hub, Vietjet Air will soon increase the frequency of its Bengaluru–Ho Chi Minh City route to daily service. The Vietnamese low-cost airline currently operates four flights per week on this route.

Driven by a surge in demand from Indian travellers, particularly from the tech and tourism sectors, the carrier is set to upgrade its schedule in the coming months. The daily flights will offer more flexible travel options between India’s technology hub and Vietnam’s economic capital.
The nonstop flight, which takes approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes, is operated using Airbus A321 aircraft configured in a dual-class layout. The airline also offers its SkyBoss premium economy class, featuring benefits such as priority boarding, lounge access, and enhanced in-flight services.
The service upgrade not only supports the rising India-Vietnam travel demand but also reinforces Ho Chi Minh City’s role as a convenient stopover for onward connections to cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Shanghai.
Vietjet currently serves six Indian cities—Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Kochi—with links to multiple Vietnamese destinations. This expansion is part of the airline’s broader strategy to tap into India’s growing aviation market and cater to both business and leisure travellers seeking seamless regional connectivity.
