It has been more than a month since Sandalwood actor Darshan also referred to as the Challenging Star has been languishing behind bars. This has caused distress to Darshan, his family and his fans as well. Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi has now approached the Shakti goddess to plead for Darshan’s release.

The prospects of Darshan coming out of jail seem to be very dull at the moment. Darshan lawyers have not applied for bail as they are waiting for the police to file a chargesheet. Darshan’s request for home-made food has also been rejected. Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi has however left no stone unturned and has been knocking on many doors with the anticipation that the fortune would turn in the favour of her family.

Vijayalakshmi went to the Mookambika temple in Kollur. She spent the night of 25th July with her friends near the Mookambika Temple. The ritual of the Nava Chandika Homa is scheduled to commence on July 26th.

This ritual is performed by people going through a tough phase in life. The Kollur Mookambika temple is considered to be a Shaktipeetha (powerhouse). The place was put in place by the revered Shankaracharya. It is believed that conducting the ritual at this location will yield better results.
