Preliminary information suggests that the attack was motivated by Sanju’s decision to leave his previous job at a spa and open a new salon. The gang entered the salon, smoked cigarettes, kicked, used foul language, and violently assaulted Sanju, hitting his head, back, and face. Following this, they reportedly forced him into a blue-colored Swift car, drove him towards Jakkur via Dasarahalli Main Road, and continued the assault using machetes, dragon knives, and beer bottles.
According to the complaint, the gang threatened to pour petrol on Sanju and set him ablaze. Sanju’s wife noticed the incident through CCTV footage and immediately approached the Amruthahalli police station to file a complaint. The police have registered an FIR against Kavya, Mahmmad, and two unidentified persons. The gang later abandoned Sanju near the police station.
During the attack, the gang allegedly damaged CCTV cables inside the salon. The police are currently investigating the case and have identified one of the gang members through a phone call.
