  • 300,00 reservists are being drafted into the Israeli army
  • Yair Netanyahu has been in Miami for more than 6 months
  • Reports suggest that Yair was seeking citizenship of the USA

Pictures of Yair Netanyuhu, son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on a beach in Miami have surfaced and sparked outrage at a time as many as 300,00 reservists are being drafted into the army amidst escalating tensions in Gaza. The authenticity of the photo is yet to be established. “Yair is enjoying his life at Miami Beach while I'm on the front lines. It's us who are leaving our work, our families, our kids, to protect our families back home and the country, not the people who are responsible for this situation,” a soldier on the borders said in an interaction with The Times

Yair Netanyahu has been in Miami for more than 6 months. A series of concerns were raised over his social media posts over which he was even fined on one occasion. His father had to issue a public clarification that Yair does not have a say in the country’s decision making after his tweets received a condemnation from the U.S State department in April 2023. His social media account has also been relatively dormant.

Two days before the attack of Hamas on Israel, there were reports that had suggested that Yair was seeking citizenship of the United States of America. Attorney Michael Wildes, a co-founder of the Wildes & Weinberg immigration policies law firm, posted on X that Yair is among his clients.
