‘Want Nivedita as my wife even in next life’: Chandan Shetty bares his soul

Even as Chandan Shetty and Nivedita Gowda call it quits, an old video has resurfaced in which Chandan Shetty reiterates that he wants Nivedita to be his wife. 

When asked the reason, he reveals that he loves to trouble her and one lifetime is not good enough to meet this insatiable desire of his. At this, she expresses her surprise.

As the news of their divorce spread like wildfire, fans were thrown into a state of despair. Many, even to this moment, haven’t acclimatised to the fact that they are no more a couple. At the family court in which their divorce plea was heard, the arbitrator tried mending fences between them, but the two stressed that their decision was mutual. In fact, the two even held their hands together, signifying a bonding beyond marriage.

It was four years ago that Chandan proposed to Nivedita during Dasara celebrations, leading to becoming the talk of the town. 

The two were participants in Kannada Bigg Boss. Later on, they went on to become adorable life partners. 

In spite of the news being true, fans are hoping against hope that it be a piece of fiction. In fact, Navarasan, Shetty’s close aide, laughed off the news and said the differences in opinion in relation to children was laughable.
