Bangalore South MP Tejaswi Surya, known for his dynamic political presence, is reportedly set to marry Chennai-based singer and Bharatanatyam artiste Sivasree Skanda Prasad. The wedding is said to be scheduled for March 4, 2025, in Bangalore, though no official announcement has been made by Surya yet.

Sivasree Skanda Prasad is a celebrated Carnatic music singer and Bharatanatyam performer, combining a rich cultural background with academic excellence. A graduate in Bioengineering from Sastra University, she holds an MA in Bharatanatyam from Chennai University and another in Sanskrit from Chennai Sanskrit College. Her artistic pursuits are matched by her love for outdoor activities like cycling, trekking, and walking.

Sivasree has gained significant recognition in the cultural sphere and has more than two lakh followers on her YouTube channel, where she showcases her musical and dance talents. She has also lent her voice to the Kannada version of the hit film Ponniyin Selvan – Part 2.

The news of this union has created a buzz in both political and cultural circles, with families of both Tejaswi Surya and Sivasree Skanda Prasad reportedly having met and finalized the arrangements.
