Gaining weight and becoming obese can be a problem. It can also be a gateway to attracting many disorders. So it becomes imperative to lose it, to be on the healthier side. 

Though there are a number of exercises to shed those extra kilos, did you know that sex too could be an effective way to bid goodbye to fat? 

As per a scientific study done in 2013, men can burn up to 101 calories and women, 69 calories in a sex session lasting 24 minutes. 

While hitting the gym, performing cardio exercises is good, ‘cardio at home’, a euphemism for sex, can be a step in the right direction. 

Also, spending more time in the bed with your partner, focusing on positions that require more physical effort, searching for angles that require more effort, thereby increasing heart rates and burning calories, prolonged foreplays which not only increase pleasure but also increase one’s physical efforts play a major role in losing weight. 

However, one should note that sex doesn’t guarantee slimness but is just a tool in achieving weight loss.
