Who is Aamir Khan's longtime friend turned love Gauri Spratt?

In a heartfelt revelation, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan introduced his partner, Gauri Spratt, during an informal media gathering in Mumbai on Thursday  coinciding  with his 60th birthday celebrations. The actor disclosed that while they have known each other for 25 years, their romantic relationship blossomed approximately 18 months ago.

Gauri Spratt, a Bengaluru based entrepreneur has a rich cultural heritage being of mixed Tamil and Irish descent. Her grandfather was a freedom fighter adding to her diverse background. Professionally, Gauri operates a hairdressing business  and holds a foundation degree in Arts in Fashion, styling, and photography from the University of Arts, London. She is also a mother to a six-year old son. 

Reflecting on their journey, Aamir shared that they reconnected serendipitously when Gauri was in Mumbai, leading to an organic development of their relationship. He expressed contentment, stating "With Gauri, I feel settled." Gauri echoed this sentiment, mentioning she sought someone gentle and intelligent and is delighted to have found such qualities in Aamir.

Their relationship has been embraced warmly by Aamir’s family. Gauri has met his children, Junaid, Ira and Azad as well as his close friends including fellow actors Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan during a recent intimate gathering at Aamir’s residence.  Aamir noted that his children are very happy about their relationship. 

On the work front, Aamir announced his upcoming film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, a thematic sequel to his critically acclaimed 2007 directorial debut ‘Taare Zameen Par’,  Directed by RS Prasanna, the film is slated for a June release.  Additionally, he is producing’ Lahore 1947’,  directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Preity Zinta and Sunny Deol.

As Aamir Khan steps into his 60s, he does so with a renewed sense of companionship and professional enthusiasm,  sharing his journey with Gauri Spratt by his side.
