Anushka Yadav, a previously unknown name in Bihar’s political landscape, has become the subject of widespread public interest following a dramatic social media post by Tej Pratap Yadav, son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav.

In a now-deleted Facebook post, Tej Pratap claimed he had been in a 12-year-long relationship with Anushka, sharing a photo of them together and stating it was time to "open his heart" to the public. The post went viral, sparking a frenzy of curiosity about Anushka's identity and background.

According to a report by The Economic Times, Anushka is a native of Bihar and is reportedly the sister of one of Tej Pratap’s former close friends — someone who has since exited the RJD and joined another political party. She is known to keep a very low profile, with no public or political presence until this sudden revelation.

Following the uproar, Tej Pratap retracted his statement, claiming his Facebook account was hacked and the photo doctored. However, the controversy led to severe consequences — Lalu Prasad Yadav expelled Tej Pratap from the party and disowned him from the family.

Despite the conflicting claims, Anushka Yadav has overnight become a figure of intense speculation, though she remains personally silent and largely out of the public eye.
