Wonderla, Bengaluru’s premier amusement park chain, has launched ‘Mission Interstellar’, an innovative space theme attraction at its Bengaluru park. Developed with an investment of Rs 35 crore, the ride features India’s largest LED based immersive screen theatres, offering visitors a futuristic space voyage experience. This cutting-edge facility which is the first of its kind in India integrates advanced technology to provide a unique adventure.

Designed in collaboration with top theme park experts from the U.S. and Europe, the installation and integration were carried out by Wonderla’s in-house engineering team, ensuring adherence to global safety and quality standards.

Speaking at the launch, Arun K. Chittilappilly, Executive Chairman & MD of Wonderla Holidays Ltd., described Mission Interstellar as a major advancement in immersive entertainment. He emphasized that the ride blends state-of-the-art technology with exhilarating experiences, reinforcing Wonderla’s commitment to evolving with visitor expectations and delivering world-class amusement attractions.
What Makes Mission Interstellar Unique?
The attraction boasts a 22m x 15m curved LED screen inside a 3,500 sq. ft. spacecraft-like enclosure. Riders experience synchronized motion effects through a hydraulically powered seating system, sourced from Italy, that lifts 60 passengers up to 40 feet. This movement is synchronized with laser projections and atmospheric effects like wind, enhancing realism. Additionally, the ride features a powerful 46,000-watt sound system.
Housed in an eight-story dome structure with a 23-meter-high roof, Mission Interstellar sets a new benchmark in theme park entertainment. Visitors also benefit from a spacious 6,500 sq. ft. air-conditioned waiting area and preview hall for added comfort.
