In a shocking case from Udupi, Karnataka, a woman has been arrested for allegedly orchestrating the murder of her husband with the help of her paramour. The victim, 44-year-old Balakrishna Pujari, had been suffering from a high fever for the past 25 days and passed away on October 20. His family grew suspicious of his wife, Pratima, prompting them to file a complaint against her.

During police interrogation, Pratima confessed to the crime, revealing that she smothered her husband to death. Authorities have since arrested both Pratima and her accomplice, identified as Dileep, who had been in contact with her through Instagram.

When the couple was brought to the crime scene for a mahajar (spot inspection), Pratima attempted to shield her face with a piece of paper, but police officers insisted she remove it. This disturbing incident highlights the tragic consequences that extramarital affairs can lead to, raising serious concerns about the impact of infidelity on families and relationships.
