The highly anticipated film ‘GOAT’, starring Thalapathy Vijay and directed by Venkat Prabhu, is poised to be a massive success even before its release. Slated to hit theaters on September 5, the action-packed entertainer has already generated Rs 425 crore in pre-release revenue, surpassing its Rs 375 crore budget by a significant margin. This makes ‘GOAT’ one of the most profitable ventures in Vijay’s illustrious career.

The film, which stands for “The Greatest Of All Time,” has seen exceptional demand, largely driven by Vijay’s immense popularity. Despite facing slightly less buzz compared to his previous release ‘Leo’, ‘GOAT’ has set a new benchmark in the pre-release business, securing distribution partnerships and drawing substantial attention from audiences across the country.

At the trailer launch event in Chennai, producer Archana Kalpathi confirmed the film’s impressive pre-release performance, emphasizing its profitability. ‘GOAT’ promises to deliver an engaging cinematic experience with Vijay in dual roles as both father and son.

The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, and Laila, with music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. As fans eagerly await its release, ‘GOAT’ is expected to dominate the box office, with a runtime of nearly three hours and a U/A rating, releasing in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
