Sameera Khan, Head of People Success at inFeedo also a founder of Cafe Goldspot in Goa recently posted an update about her shopping spree at an IKEA centre. She had initially planned to just buy a lamp but upon reaching the store she was enticed by several other prospects. At the end of it all, she even went home without buying the lamp. Her bill ended up extending beyond her height.
She wrote about the incident on X, formerly known as Twitter along with a photo. The post had become viral. It had collected 235,000 impressions. It had 2060 likes and 76 retweets. Many users found this anecdote relatable.

The architecture in many retailing outfits in fact are designed to keep essential items away from the human, stacked up in a corner so that the customers are drawn in by other attractive products which they possibly did not intend to buy in the first place.
