Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami has had a phenomenal run in the ongoing World Cup. 

With his knack to swing, seam and bowl at massive speeds, Shami has been a nightmare to many batsmen. 

In simple words, he has been an integral part of the Indian team for a long time. 

However, life has not been a bed of roses for the fiery fast bowler. You may be surprised to know that, unable to stomach family issues, he had even contemplated suicide as many as three times. 

In fact, his wife Hasin Jahan, had filed a case related to domestic violence against him in 2018 and he was booked under several cases. As a consequence, the BCCI had also not been very friendly with the cricketer, as it held back awarding him a contract. 

Not just that, he was also deserted from his own daughter. He had even put out a post on X, revealing the melancholic moments in his life.

However, in spite of all the upheavals in his life, he stood like a rock and faced the bull by the horns. In his confession, he adds that it was his family that stood by him and encouraged him with utmost patience. 

Now, with his golden run in the tournament, he has been a blessing for India.
