Held at the Jio World Convention Centre, the festivities have been graced by numerous high-profile personalities from around the globe. However, the joyous occasion recently faced an alarming situation following a suspicious post on X .
A user with the handle @FFSFIR, who has now seemed to have deleted their account, posted a disturbing message suggesting a bomb threat at the wedding.
The post read, "A shameless thought crept into my mind that if a bomb went off at Ambani's wedding, half the world would turn upside down. Trillions of dollars in one pin code." This alarming statement quickly caught the attention of netizens, prompting one concerned user to alert the authorities.
In response, the Mumbai Police heightened security measures around the wedding venue to ensure the safety of the high-profile guests. A senior police officer informed Hindustan Times on Sunday night that although the post was deemed a hoax, the authorities did not take any chances and acted swiftly to mitigate any potential threats.
The police are currently investigating the incident, working to identify the individual behind the post and understand their motive. While no FIR has been registered yet, the investigation is ongoing.
