Before the shoot commenced, Yash, accompanied by his wife Radhika Pandit and their children, visited several prominent temples in Karnataka, including the Shri Sadashiva Rudra Surya Temple, Shri Manjunatheshwara Temple in Dharmastala, and Kukke Subramanya Temple in Subramanya.

Earlier this year, celebrity hairstylist Alex Vijaykanth showcased Yash's new look for the film. Vijaykanth, who is known for his transformative work, revealed Yash’s striking new pompadour hairstyle, replacing his iconic long hair with a shorter, edgier style. He described the new look as a "custom pompadour for Rocking Star Yash," emphasizing the challenge and excitement of creating a hairstyle that complements the character.

Yash first announced his involvement in Toxic in December 2023, quoting Rumi: "'What you seek is seeking you' - Rumi A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups #TOXIC." The action film, centered around the drug mafia, is scheduled for release on April 10, 2025. The project is being jointly produced by Venkat K Narayana’s KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.
