YouTube influencer TTF Vasan seriously injured in bike accident; booked for reckless driving

YouTuber and motorbike enthusiast TTF Vasan has been booked under section 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) by the Baluchetty Chatram police. 

Vasan attempted a wheelie on his bike on the Bengaluru-Chennai highway. This proved to be detrimental as a SUV which was driving alongside the same road made the bike take a detour onto the bushes. Vasan was injured in the process and the bike was also damaged. He was taken to the nearby hospital by onlookers wherein he is being treated for his injuries. Vasan and his friends were enroute Maharashtra on a bike trip. As per the CCTV footage the incident occurred at around 4:30 PM on 17th September. 

The video of the incident has become viral and drawn a range of responses from anger to disappointment. 

TTF Vasan has more than 4 million subscribers on YouTube. This is not his first instance of reckless driving. He has in the past even been questioned over what type of an influence he is becoming especially for the lakhs of youngsters who get influenced by his stunts. TTF Vasan has however regularly deflected these comments.
