In his statement, he admitted that comedy is not his strong suit and took full responsibility for his words. "My comment wasn't just inappropriate—it wasn’t even funny. I’m not here to justify anything, just to apologize. Many people asked if this is how I want to use my platform, and the answer is no," he said.

Allahbadia further emphasized that his podcast is watched by audiences of all ages and that he does not take this responsibility lightly. He assured viewers that he has requested the show's makers to remove the offensive parts from the video and vowed to be more mindful in the future.

Despite his apology, social media users continue to demand a boycott, criticizing his remarks as deeply offensive. A formal complaint has also been filed against him, Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, and the show for allegedly using abusive language. The controversy has reignited discussions about content regulation on OTT platforms.
