YRF keeps Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR apart before War 2 release

Yash Raj Films (YRF) has decided to keep lead actors Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR separate during the promotional campaign for their highly anticipated action film, War 2. The move is a strategy to build suspense around their on-screen rivalry.

As this marks the first collaboration between the two stars, YRF wants audiences to witness their chemistry and rivalry directly on the big screen, rather than through interviews or joint appearances beforehand. Both actors will promote the film individually but will not be seen together until after the release.

This method has also been previously used by YRF for its Spy Universe films like Pathaan, Tiger 3 and the War, where limited pre-release exposure helped maintain excitement and mystery as well around the audiences, where key details and cast interactions are kept under wraps to keep the suspense alive around .The focus is on letting the film speak for itself when it hits the screens.

War 2 is set to release on August 14, 2025, with a special IMAX rollout planned too. It is expected to be a major action film with large-scale visuals and powerful performances.

By keeping the two stars apart before the release, the makers hope to increase curiosity and make their first on-screen meeting more thrilling for the audience.
