Congress leaders discussed drought relief with PM Modi

Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Chamarajpet Zameer Ahmed Khan who visited Delhi along with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah among others, has returned to Bengaluru. This must be part of the routine for politicians. But the style and the aura of Zameer Khan is what has grabbed everyone’s attention. His king-like pose to a song from K.G.F 2 set as the background score in a reel which he has posted across social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, has become viral. 

The trip appears to have been planned on a private chartered plane. Zameer Khan’s social media accounts are filled with videos of himself to songs exhibiting a high stature but the latest instance of this has caught everyone’s attention. The reel also consisted of photos of Zameer Khan along with the Chief Minister and other politicians. This has however got a mixed response.

Some complaints emerged from the use of a Kannada song instead of a Hindi song. Others mentioned that flaunting privilege while the trip was made to request relief for drought was in bad taste. “There are about 50 daily flights between Bengaluru and Delhi. All through the day and night. Why do these people (CM and others) fly luxurious private planes? Will Zameer’s most insensitive and immature post end this culture?,” a user commented.
