Nikhil, alongside his elder brother Nithin Kamath, 44, holds the 40th spot on the list with a combined net worth of Rs 45,754.5 crore.
In 2010, the Kamath brothers established the brokerage firm Zerodha, which revolutionized the trading landscape by introducing zero-cost equity investing.
During the fiscal year 2023, Zerodha recorded a total revenue of Rs 6,875 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 2,907 crore, showcasing a significant leap from the preceding year’s revenue of Rs 4,964 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 2,000 crore.
Apart from his involvement with Zerodha, Nikhil also played a key role in co-founding True Beacon and Gruhas.
Recently, he unveiled the concept of the WTF Fund on October 11 through his LinkedIn profile. This initiative aims to support emerging entrepreneurs in the fashion, beauty, and home brand sectors.
Notably, esteemed personalities such as Kishore Biyani (the founder of Future Group), Ananth Narayanan (the founder of Mensa Brands), and Raj Shamani (content creator and host of the Figuring Out podcast) will be collaborating with the co-founder of Zerodha in this endeavour.
