In Bengaluru, a striking 30% of employed women reported encountering gender bias in their workplaces, significantly surpassing the national average of 16%. This disparity underscores the pressing need for addressing gender-related challenges in professional environments, particularly in tech-centric cities like Bengaluru.

The survey titled ‘Women and Finance,’ also delved into leisure activities, uncovering intriguing insights. Kolkata emerged as the frontrunner, with 55% of women dedicating substantial time to leisure travel, followed closely by Mumbai at 50%. In the southern metropolis of Bengaluru, 47% of women indulged in more than three leisure trips within the previous year, in stark contrast to the 15% recorded in Hyderabad.

These findings resonate with prevalent industry perceptions regarding enduring gender disparities in professional settings. Nationally, salaried women perceive a staggering 23% gender pay gap, while 16% of them report encountering gender bias in their workplaces.
