Director Srinivasa Raju is set to bring the epic tale of Ayodhya’s Sri Rama Mandir to the silver screen in Kannada. This ambitious project aims to encapsulate the 500-year journey of Lord Rama’s consecration at his birthplace, Ayodhya. Titled yet to be decided, the film will bear the tagline “Satyam Shivam Sundaram.”
The Ayodhya dispute, spanning centuries and culminating in a historic verdict in 2019, serves as the backdrop for this biopic. Producer Prashanth Rudrappa, known for “Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi,” will helm this venture under his banner, Trishul Entertainment.

Director Srinivasa Raju expressed his vision, reportedly stating, “This biopic aims to encapsulate 500 years of history into a cinematic experience. It will focus on pivotal characters such as Dasharatha, Rama, Sita, Hanumanta, Vali, Valmiki, and Tulsidas, embodying the essence of the Ramayana.”
The film, slated to release in three parts, promises grandeur beyond expectations. Director Raju hinted at the involvement of renowned artists and technicians from across the country. “We chose the auspicious occasion of Sri Ram Navami to unveil our project. More details, including the title, will be revealed in due course,” he added.
With the biopic poised to offer a cinematic spectacle steeped in history and mythology, anticipation mounts among audiences eager to witness the epic saga of Ayodhya’s revered temple unfold on the silver screen.
