Core Committee meeting of JDS was held in Hubballi
We too have some videos in our possession: Kumaraswamy
Prajwal Revanna has been expelled from the party
Former Chief Minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy has reacted to the obscene videos supposedly featuring NDA candidate from Hassan, Prajwal Revanna. Speaking in Hubli, after a Core Committee meeting of the Janata Dal (Secular) JD(S) he said, “There’s a role of the Mahanayaka (DK Shivakumar) in spreading the videos. He has given life to incidents that occurred in 2012. We too have some videos in our possession. All aspects of the case have to be investigated. The Mahanayaka who preaches about women’s safety has stolen them of their dignity,” Kumaraswamy said.
Kumaraswamy also talked about the dissatisfaction among Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from the JD(S). “It is important for us that there is no dent on the image of JD(S). There is no question of forgiving anyone. Everyone must face the consequences of their actions. Let the State Government conduct its own enquiry. Those indulged in wrongdoing must face the appropriate punishment,’ Kumaraswamy added.
Prajwal Revanna has been formally expelled from the party. The BJP has also pointed fingers at Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar for not taking action against the allegation despite being aware of it. However, Prajwal’s driver has denied providing the pen drive to Congress leaders.
